I know right! If im gonna pay $10,000+ for a new car it has to be a pretty good car.

I have a few issues with my car last summer. Got them all fix and moved to Houston back in December. I let my room mate drive the car and he is a bit rough on them so when we started having problems with him I told him what needed to be done to get it fixed, but he likes to procrastinate and then freak out when the car wont run. I then have to call a mechanic to get it fixed. Thought he had learned last time not to wait til last minute to get it fixed since he had to spend 4 hours on bus going to and from work the next day. I guess not. Keep telling him what needs to be done but he wont listen. Not sure but seems like most guys I either date or are friends with think because I am female I do not know what I am talking about even after I tell them my father is a mechanic and I was married to a mechanic, which I knew more about cars than he did, lol. My car is an 86 Olds. Do not care for the newer vehicles. Can not work on them myself as easily.

I know how everyone here feels.  I have a newer vehicle and it always seems to be broken down.  I hate to say it, but I think I bought a "lemon."  My aunt even gave me a key chain that says "keys to the lemon!!!"

OK so the car completely went dead on me when I was on my way home today. Now not only do we have to replace the alternator we may have to replace the starter and the battery also. Guess that is what you get for procrastinating to long and not listening to some one who knows better. lol Am hoping the room mate learned his lesson this time. He had to cancel a job interview because of it. And I have to find a different way to get to my job tomorrow.

I have a 1996 LS Blazer and it runs like a champ even though the 4X4 don't work anymore. I plan to work on the 4X4 and get it to work again. Then, I'm gonna try to sell it ASAP. The blazer don't even have 125,000 miles on it yet. I would like to get another truck because I was a fool for trading my truck for the blazer. I enjoy driving the blazer even if it have a few issues. I just like trucks more :)
