Beautiful actresses and so so actors

It seems that all the programs I watch have beautiful women either as the star or a supporting part.  But, there are only a few handsome men in supporting parts.  I rarely see a woman who is not pretty.  But, most of the supporting men seem to be middle-aged and not at all good looking.  It seems a lot of the same character men go from one series to another.  Nothing wrong with that, just an observation.

I noticed that too. I look at it and say to myself that would never happen in real life. No size 4 beauty is going out with some big galloot unless he is loaded or she's blind or has really low self esteem. I know in an ideal world that should not be the case but we don't live in fairyland. I think maybe they chose actors like that because of the ratings of the shows they were on prior.

Hollywood, or tinsel town as most like to call it, churns out nothing but tripe. Life is not wrapped up in 30 minutes of fluff that a 3rd grader would find boring. I don't own a TV and never will. I was reading the Yahoo News today online and amidst all the world problems (and they were many), was a headline about the Jersey Shore Crew had problems in Europe finding proper plugs to plug in their hair dryers and were freaking out.

Is this substantial news? Who actually cares about this sludge? who are these people anyway and why is their life worthy of our attention? I've never watched an episode of Jersey Shore and never will.
