So I've been in school all summer and had minor surgery as well, so I haven't been on in awhile

I also got a new laptop for school, and I can't remember if I'm able to do offers on my laptop, or if FC will think that's a second computer and I'll get in trouble?  My desktop keeps shutting down in the middle of nowhere... :-(

If you're using your laptap in your house, then its fine - it'll be the same IP as the desktop.
