My house was flooded during Hurricane Gustav. I live in Louisiana, and we got 24 inches of rain in 2 days which resulted in 3 1/2 feet of water inside my home. My last few days have consisted of cleaning up my house, saving what I could, and making living arrangements. Things have settled down for now and I am back and will get on the tickets ASAP. With Ike projected to also come to Louisiana my stay on the internet may be short lived.

what part of louisiana are you in? I am in Kenner and we didnt get any flooding here but i know areas close to me got flooded and i know the baton rouge area was hit very bad as my fiance lives in that area and he lost everything

i hope you make out ok and find a place to live and be able to salvage a good bit of your belongings good luck
