Any Southeastern Skiers? Yeah, it's Summer, but I can't wait for Winter

I live in Virginia and the best skiing I've found around here is Snowshoe in West Virginia.  I've been to Lake Placid in NY and that was great, but I've never been to the great ski resorts like Smugglers Notch in Vermont or anywhere out West.  The worst skiing was in North Carolina a few years ago.  If you went off the snow pack on either side you would be skiing on dirt and rock.  It would be cool to get a group of people from here to go skiing sometime.  Most of my friends are non-skiers, but maybe one day.

Good grief......wash your mouth out... lol..I'm in Oregon and we haven't even begun to have summer yet.  So far I think we have had ONE day over 80 degrees.  Today and tomorrow might be close but sunday is supposed to be about 67 then back up close to 80 for the 4th and a couple of days after that.

That sounds great!!  Fall is really my favorite time of the year as the temperature is just right 60's-low 70's.  Hot weather is not fun for me by any means.  Splashing around in a pool all Summer isn't worth the trade off of skin cancer 20 years down the road.

I live in Florida and have never been snow skiing.  I hate cold weather, but it does look like fun.
