Basically That is correct. posts in the promotions  like the weekend or Tuesday promotions don't count ( the actual contest)to your 30 posts It must be 30 posts in a calendar mmonth.
Watch the video at the top of the page are you being paid to post yet? it give you lots of tips on how to make your posts count.
 Once you have your 30 post you have to submit them for approval

Simply explained and i'm still a little confused on the three to submit, but slowly and surely i'm getting it. Every time I log in I check my forums and click on the "Show new replies to your posts" usually by the time i'm done with that I haven't had a chance to check or respond to other posts.

Very understandable. Ive been paid three times so I know it definitely works. And they pay a lot of bonuses here too. It all adds up. Just make sure you ask questions if you aren't sure of something and read the rules.
