Yes.  I went to their sales pitch right after I graduated college.  I didn't know what it was about before I got there.  They made it sound so easy.  I remember they had you list every person you could think of friends, family, neighbors, acquaintances.  They they said see you know so many people and they know so many people so it's going to be easy to go around to all these people and demo these wonderful knives.

Another "job opportunity" I remember during that time was selling knock off perfume.  Basically it involved going to malls and approaching people in parking lots and getting them to buy.

I used to sell for them, it's Cutco, good company, good knives and good warranty for their product. Look them up. You have to sell to family and friends, no cold calls or selling to strangers. You get paid per appointment, each is about an hour and they train you on the presentation you give to your potential customers or you make commission off what you sell. If you're a good salesperson you'll make money, even if you can just get referrals to more people to show the presentation to that's good because each appointment you still get paid for. You have to buy the starter kit for the presentations but it's yours then, I still have my knives and they still work well and if they ever dull you can send them to the company and they will sharpen them for you free. Hope this helps you

Yes I heard about Vector. I think they still post these kind of opportunity for job seekers during the summer when students are off school. I received mine by mail. I even attended one of their group interviews. They provide free training. You can set your own hours. Vector is a sister? company of Cutco. They claim their knives are very high quality as they can cut and slice through anything. I don’t see myself as an ideal salesperson working part-time or full-time selling something people only buy once.
