Mac Versus PC. Which do you prefer?

Have you used or are you using both Mac and PC? If so, which do you prefer to use. Please state what have you used or are currently using both OS for: video editing, music production, photo editing, simple everyday computing, etc...

Also, what do you like and hate about both?

I've worked with both, but prefer PC because it is what I am more familiar with. I use my PC for website scripting/designing as well as simple everyday computing.

I prefer Mac. I used PC when I worked, but I have Mac at home and I like it better.

A long time ago and in a far off galaxy or workplace I had the pleasure of working with multiple operating systems and I was asked that question more times than I care to remeber.  But the pat answer I always had was that it had nothing to do with the operating system but with the applications that were running on the operating system.  Both have strengths and weaknesses.  For an example the Mac was much faster at processing graphics for the maps we were generating.  But the PC once the maps were generated could process them and distribute  them faster to printers, plotters, post them on the web server which was a Unix based system.  So again it boils down to which application you are using and which operating system runs it when looking at one vs the other.

I suppose that for most people, it would be, what you are familiar with. Unless you are fortunate enough to have had experience with both. I started out with and have always had a PC, therefore I have nothing to compare. So my choice is PC.
