NOyou have the right to enroll your child in any school that is school of choice it would just be up to you to make sure they get there but before or after yu should still file a complaint with Borad of ED.

What about having a meeting with the teacher to find out what has been going on. I have kids too and I know how I would feel about someone disrespecting one of them, But My wife is also a teacher and I know there are two sides to the story and Kids don't always tell the truth.

Now maybe you have talked to the teacher already and found out the whole story, i dont know, but I would say do that before you go trying to change schools.

And I don't think you can just enroll in any town because it has to do with the taxes that you pay in that town, at least that is how it works where I am from.

Anyway Good Luck I hope everything works out for you

depending on the school or district you might have to get a variance which allows a student to go to a school outside of their district area.

Try having an autistic child my best friend has an autistic child at least 2 days a week she is having a meeting with the principal because of how he is being treated by teachers and staff and he cant even tell you what they did.  He just acts out and refuses to go to that person when dropped off.

Well first off if you feel that your children are not being treated right you have every right to change schools. Some areas you have to pay to switch becuase your out of district but you can. And I would also have a sit down with the teachers and principal to find out what was happening before you make your decision. If you still feel they are in the wrong definatly take it to the board of education. Teachers cant disrespect students but they can give them rules that they have to follow. I would check into it and make sure it really is a teacher problem or a school problem and nothing with the kids doing things and not wanting to listen. Even switching teachers might help. But like I said if you still dont feel like you are getting anywhere by talking to the school or the board then deff move your kids.
