If ever you feel like a volcano about to errupt, you need to take a self day. Me, myself, and I day. Even if you can not afford to go anywhere, you can still take a self day. Leave the kids with grandma, aunt, or uncle and relax. If they attend school during the day, use the hours they are gone for self. . .take a day off work and chill! Meditate. . .get your sleep on! Put some good music on and dance all by yourself. Take care of you so you can take care of everyone else!

I like to have myself some good quiet time. Even if it is just a few hours, every few days!

i think you need a day if you never get time to yourself. but if you take about a couple hours everyday, you should be fine

I've always felt taking time for ourselves also makes us more pleasant to be around. Usually it doesn't happen often enough lol!

To reflect on what is important to you, take time for yourself is a good thing i'm good with that but stay grounded on why you need to take time out for yourself in the 1st place..

Everyont needs time to them selves but find the time and the space is hard for me. I watch my two cgrandsons while their mom works and they also live with me. If I go outside they want to go to. I try to take my time at night when they are in bed.

I have been raising my grandson since he was in the 3rd grade, now he's a junior in high school.   All these years I have never had any time for myself, but now he will be visiting our family in Cincinnati, Ohio for the summer.  Thank God, I will finally have time for myself, I love my grandson but I really need a little "me time".

I enjoy the ability to chill and come up with obvious things about everyday life that are often overlooked...

I feel like there are some days where you have to take a day off from school, just sleeping and relaxing.  Even on the weekends, we're always studying and doing homework.  And sometimes teachers just keep piling things on.  It's ridiculous.  I did take a couple of days off from school this year, and it actually made me feel guilty.  I did catch up on everything though. And it felt so good.
