Malware Alert!
« on: November 18, 2007, 04:09:35 pm »
Yesterday I clicked on the PermissionResearch offer on your free offers pages. One of the free offers from them for a sign up bonus was a word game download. Before I was off their page I had added a malware program to my computer that took ALL day and finally a system restore to remove. Niether McAfee, Norton or Spybot caught it even with their most current updates installed. I was unable to access the internet using Internet Explorer until I did the system restore.

I found a minimum of 4 files/objects in my sys32 folder of windows with PermissionResearch name on them before I did the sys restore.

Just a heads up to anyone going to that site.
