Falc, love the Picard pic, very appropriate!
I am still shaking my head at the absurdity.....is this guy (teflon) serious?
I repeat:DELUSIONAL.

Thank you for your honesty(I need feedback on how my arguments are fallacious) Can you explain in detail please. Same for you Amy.

Sorry. Didn't see this post. Well you're a good guy and all and you speak your mind, but the problem is that you rely on ridiculously impossible things to try to prove a rational point in these types of discussions. If you're going to speak to people who value reason and rationality (like everyone should...), you must first prove that these mystical things did indeed happen with historical evidence with various parallel claims. But all you and others always throw at people is an ancient book full of large gaps that can't get their stories straight to the point where the religion branches off into thousands of sects just because they can't agree on the pettiest things.

I mean if we're going to talk about some dude who gets his strength from his hair, a guy who sat in a belly of a fish for a few days, a woman turned to salt, a guy who made water into wine, etc. etc., we might as well be infront of a class of children telling them ancient stories and fairy tales all over the cultural spectrum. That's the problem here- these things cannot and did not happen because of reality and how things truly work in this world, but you are so reliant on them with your beliefs that there seems to be no wall between what can be distinguished as real and fake in your mind. Understand that this really does not apply just to you-- this mindset is all over this forum. So that's why everyone now is going  :BangHead: and  ::)

I'll just end with one of my favorite sayings- "You can't argue rationally with religious people. If you could, there would be no religious people". Think about that.
