I guess I'll have to go along with you on the concert front.  I took my 14-year old son to his first concert--tonight in fact (we just got back a little while ago)... We saw Stillwell (drummer from POD plus bassist from Korn--Fieldy--on guitars plus a couple of other guys), In This Moment, Sevendust, Disturbed and Korn.

It was kind of like a MasterCard commercial: "Two general admission tickets to see 5 live bands: $80; food and beverages at concert stand: $40; two concert tees: $70; the look on my son's face as he got to see his first live concert: priceless!"

That's the March highlight so far.  Maybe I'll hit the lottery...  :D

Thanks Lynn.  I hope your night out with the girls in the Apple was nice.  Janet Jackson at Radio City Music Hall!?  That had to be an awesome show--she knows how to rock the house...

My husband owns an Ohio State hoodie and offered to let me wear it to work.  I live in die-hard Wildcat country... and I don't have a death wish.

I do have to say, though: GOOOOOOOO KENTUCKY!!!!  LOL

I am really glad that y'all had fun at the concerts. I really like the sales that many stores have for March Madness. I do not care one bit about any sports junk, but for y'all that center your life around that, my prayers are for you to wake up, and get in the real world.

Sports are just something to watch and be entertained by. Having an interest in March Madenss or whatever else does not mean you aren't "in the real world". I think it's good for people to take a break from the more serious issues in life and enjoy something, whether it is yelling for a sports team or some other hobbie. What an ignorant post.

As mh874892 said, there is a difference between watching sports and centering your life around it.  Will I cry or die if Kentucky doesn't win it all?  Absolutely not.  Will I be excited to watch the last two games and will I cheer and celebrate if my team wins?  You bet your sweet bippy I will.  What do I center my life around?  My daughter, my husband, my family... working, having fun, learning, researching, participating in charity, being a grassroots activist, studying my religion, and trying to be the best me I can be.

You give the appearance of being a very bitter person.  I feel sorry for you.
