Problems with PTC for 2/22

I was having a problem with the PTC today. After viewing all of the sites I needed to, I clicked on the last ad where the catcha box pops up. However, when I entered in the catcha code, it reloaded the PTC page and the catcha window, saying that there was a problem processing my response and to try again. After trying 3 times I've finally given up and am posting here instead to see if there is an issue with the catcha box...

I just did it and it worked fine for me. I've had that problem a couple times in the past, but it seems like a connection problem or something. I would wait a while and try again later in the day. Hope it ends up working for you.

Make sure to type everything exactly how it is. Sometimes i had to research what to put because they left a blank for me to fill out in the box.

I had problems with it like that yesterday.  I just refreshed my page and started over.  It was having problems accepting the code for that last part for some reason.  I even refreshed the questions part so it would rest for that also and when I put in the code it went through.

Argh! Having the same problem today (and I was away from my PC the last few days, so it's actually been twice in a row for me). I don't have a problem with entering in the captcha code for the e-mails, just for the PTC... I'll try again later in the day, or maybe run Window Washer to really clean out any temp internet files that may be causing problems...

I haven't had a problem with the 2/22.  Maybe try again. I did that before and it worked fine when I started over.

Something is very screwy for me and the PTC.... Ever since I made that initial post, I haven't been able to get past the captcha screen on the PTC. I have tried rebooting the computer as well as using Window Washer, so the problem isn't with some cookie (although, now come to think of it, I always do the e-mail first -- and don't have a probelm with the captcha check -- but maybe I need to clean the cookies, etc. between the e-mail and the PTC.... hmmm maybe that's the next thing to try). I don't have a problem with the e-mail and for awhile I didn't have any problems with this either, so I don't think it's a browser issue (I'm using Firefox 3.6), but I may also try IE (though I REALLY hate using that browser )

Update: I have now shut down FF, run Window Washer, and tried again -- still didn't get past captcha. Then I shut down FF, run Window Washer, and tried using IE -- still didn't get past captcha!         

This is getting extremely frustrating! I have been doing this for a couple of years now and never had a problem, but all of a sudden I cannot seem to get credit for the PTC. My last thought is that by getting credit for the e-mail, I'm not getting credit for PTC (don't know why that would be the case, since, again, I've never had that issue before) Tomorrow I'll try just doing the PTC without doing the e-mail to see if that makes a difference... Grrr!!!

There must be something wrong with how it is keeping track of my daily items... The last few days, I have been doing the PTC first and then trying the e-mail. If done in this order, I can get credit for the PTC but not the e-mail (and this is after shutting down the browser and running Window Washer which clears all of my cookies and internet cache). However when I tried to do the e-mail, I got an error about my IP address. So today I tried the e-mail first and it works with no IP address error, but then the PTC won't work (the captcha pops up again and says I put in the wrong text). Do I have to release / renew my IP Address in between in order to get this to work?! I have never had so much trouble with getting BOTH of the daily items to work!!! I may have to just give up on the e-mails and go with the PTC instead; better to get 15 cents from the PTC than 2 from the e-mail if I can only do one or the other...  

Oh and BTW, even though the topic originally was for 2/22, this has now been an on-going problem... I just don't know if I can change the topic name...
