No white carbs (white breads, pasta, etc).  Eat smaller portions 5-6 times per day.  Run/cardio does wonders; drink plenty of water.  Fiber is key; keeps you full longer.  Lean protein - fish, chicken, turkey etc.  Beans are phenomenal as well.

try weight watchers and then add exercise. I have been on WW for two days and have lost 3 pounds
