add a signature to your email account,
add your referral link into a manual traffic exchanges,

A technique that has been working for me is to make friends on the internet. The more you talk to people on instant messenger services, the more trusting they will be of you and you can explain to them that FC exists and is a reasonable source of some income. They'll be a lot more likely to bite if you can explain it's not a scam and you are a real person.

Assuming ofcourse you have friends on social networks.    

Facebook, myspace and twitter are good places to just posting a link from FC. Tell your experience for visitors to read. I have 24 referrals so far as of the past weekend as a newbie on FC using social networks. There is a social network banner link in the "Refer Friends" area (use the first one at top)....Hope this helps...Good luck

There is a referral link on here that you can share, to friends family etc.

I also put a banner on this parenting site that I go on,and it works pretty well because you know parents always need extra cash!

I only have 3 referrals so take my advice with a grain of salt lol. But what I plan to do is make a "realistic" blog on how much money you can make on the site with ease, mapping out my daily routine, my experiences and what to expect. There are so many blogs out there that like to lead you on and tell you you'll make "x" amount of money quickly and it's just plain misleading.

DON'T BE JUST ORDINARY - BE CREATIVE, TOO!

In other words, do the Donald Trump thing, and think OUTSIDE THE BOX. Yeah, definitely use Facebook, MySpace, and all the other social networks. If you haven't got any friends though, this could be a long and tedious plan.

Click on ACCOUNT, and scroll to the bottom for the REFERRAL Link specific to you. Print it out a zillion times (make it fancy if you want to), and pass it out to everyone you know or come in contact with. Do you work? Give it to your coworkers. Do you go to church? Give it to the parishioners. Do you go to the gas station? Give it to the attendant. Do you go....well, you get the idea. Heck, you can just go walking up and down the street meeting strangers, saying something like..."Hey, want five bucks today?" You'd be surprised how many people do.

As far as I know, and someone correct me if I'm wrong, but SPAMMING applies to Email/Internet stuff. Passing out a flyer doesn't fall into that dreaded category. Am I right?

This seems like a really creative way to get referrals  but what are the odds for a stranger to believe another stranger some people might think one is crazy. But still a very creative way of getting referrals being active literary with your future down line.
