eat less oil, less sugar,less salt, no dessert. then it will be good and you can control your weight.

You just do it.  I never really tried this, but I read in a magazine once that if you just envision the results you can achieve by not eating like that at night it might help.  I like to post encouraging quotes or pictures where I will see them frequently to keep me motivated or maybe listen to a certain song frequently to keep me motivated.  It's really all about will power.

Drink a lot of water and try to distract yourself at night by watching a movie with a friend that knows you are on a diet.

Drink way more water. Lots of water helps keep the stomach feel full and is good at flushing the system of the foods that your body does not eat. Also as others have mentioned before eat 6 small meals instead of 1 big one.

Wow what great ideas you have all shared, thank you I will try several.  I work 4 to mid night, most night eating is not a proablem excet when it is really slow.
