Its not a question of being helpful, its a question of making people actually function on their own.
When a site has a massive tutorial section explaining everything, an established forum with a ton of things posted already, plus a search bar to look up absolutely anything, it borders on the edge of obscene when someone just bypasses all that and just posts up a question that has been posted a million times already.
You may want to perpetuate this among people, on this site and others, but the more you encourage the lack of personal motivation it takes to complete the most menial tasks, the more people will just rely on everyone else to do everything for them.
As far as being a "newbie", yeah on this site I'm new. Just because I haven't been on your little site for long doesn't mean I haven't been doing this for longer. Before you try to act high and mighty because you've cashed out a few more times that someone else, learn who you are talking to.
Everyone else who thinks this is mean, insensitive, or inconsiderate, get over yourself. Learn to read, learn to function on your own, and learn how to deal with the public without having someone hold your hand. You might have a few people posting in your defense, but you have ten times that reading this and agreeing with me.
Wow, aren't you the delightful individual
For one thing, I don't have to LEARN who I'm talking to, so get over
yourself. My listing how many times I've cashed out, was to show this site is legit, and people can make a little extra money. It was for encouragement.
The average person is cynical and doesn't want anything to do with others. Society as a whole has made the move to a completely impersonal civilization where people aren't required to exercise typical formalities and courtesies. The era of hospitality and social graces is dead and it isn't coming back. The new age of electronic communications era is here, so start adapting.
Excuse me? Your choice of being cynical, impersonal, non courteous, etc., is
not the norm. The era of hospitality, and social graces is NOT dead, and people do care for others and want to help them. What a sad person you are to make a statement as above. Electronic age, or not, we are all human beings living the same life, with it's ups and downs. I for one will choose to help my fellow man. However, you will find a few (very few) on here (mostly in D&D) who have your same mindset. The 10 times of people agreeing with you is just hot air boasting, which is nothing further from the truth.
While you state right at the beginning: "It's not a question of being helpful, it's a question of making people actually function on their own". Is in reality a contradiction if you read the rest of your argument.
FYI: This "little site" as you referred to Fusion Cash, gives out blue stars to those who help others with questions on here. I guess they (the Admin.) seem to know something you don't.....that their "little site" needs a little help from it's members occasionally, to guide others in some of their site's functions.
Or are they not "adapting"?
I went back and read some of your previous posts, and found a big surprise!! You yourself, had a question about cash out, and someone helped you. It's amazing that you can post rudeness to someone who did the very thing you did previously.
Solarremmi wrote on Feb. 22, 2011I hit cash out about a week ago, trying to beat the Feb 20th deadline, but missed it apparently. I have a payment of $25 waiting, but thus far, I have made another $10 just from referrals. If I cancel the pending payment, can I roll it all together and cash out for $35 instead?
