I agree Brittney.  Carrie proved she could sound good live simply by appearing on American Idol week after week.  I just saw Taylor swift perform on the Ellen show and she was lip syncing.  I've seen her on other shows live and her voice struggles to sound good.

i thought that taylor swift was also on american idol.... im going to look into this

I would say Carrie Underwood, she has amazing talent live. I love Taylor Swift, but I do think that her live vocals could be improved. But she is doing better lately! =)

I get the whole Taylor Swift thing and I'm glad she brought teens back to country music making it 'cool' for them to listen too.  It seems more and more country music is dying and it's just so sad to see.  I mean I'm a third generation country music fan and I'm glad somebody like Taylor decided it was time to get a younger generation involved so the music wouldn't die.  Personally, I'm not a teen so I don't much care for Taylor Swift and as for Carrie Underwood I really only like her attidude songs like before he cheats otherwise she's one of those 'heard one heard 'em all' type singers.  Now Reba...there's a singer.  If Carrie makes it as long as Reba then I'll change my tune.

i would choose carrie underwood i think taylor swift looks and acts fake sorry if i were that rich i wouldnt need that much make up they would like me for who i am and what i do i think carrie underwood is beautiful and i am jealous of her

Hard for me to say because I do really like Taylor Swift, it is just as a vocalist Taylor is not anywhere near Carrie's range or tone. So I have to say Carrie Underwood.
