Dirt Modified Racing in the Northeast
« on: January 13, 2011, 07:31:49 pm »
Snow has been on the ground since Christmas, it is about 5 degrees outside with the windchill and I was thinking about the hot summer nights of my youth sitting at the local dirt track. Was wondering if there is anyone else out there with those memories, my favorite tracks were Flemington, Nazareth and East Windsor. My favorite driver was Sammy Beavers.

I have memories of watching Corvette, BMW, Porsche, Ferrari, Ford GT and Jaguar racing at Road America.

Is Road America in Georgia? I have never made it there although I like road courses and I would like to see the 24 hours of Daytona sometime or the 12 hours of Sebring.
