u wouldnt lose ur mind because they wouldnt exist and if they never existed u would have never had one therefore u would never know what they are and u wont miss it.

I think I would be fine without one, but it's a great convenience when your car breaks down or there is some other kind of emergency. Pay phones are scarce these days.

 yes i do agree. i used to see them all over. now every place is taking them out. but u know what?? that should keep them because if someones phone dies what r they gonna do??

I think that it can go both ways. I love having my cell phone but it's also relaxing to not have to worry about people calling u. And there would definatly be less accidents from people driving and txting at the same time

Nope I wouldn't miss them at all.  I grew up in a world without cell phones.  And I can sure enough survive in a world without them.

I think I could live without my cell phone.  but something someone said about using a pay phone.  That would be a little hard now because most of them have been taken out.  I worked at a campground where they had payphones for the kids to use during the summer so they could call home.  The phone company came in a wanted to remove them.  They said that they were not making much money on them.  So if the camp wanted to keep they had to pay the regular payment on them and also a min. fee to keep them.  I think that is wrong.  So if there was an problem in some places you would be hard pressed to find a pay phone.  So living without the cell would be nice to have some freedom from the phone but it could be a problem when an emergancy should happen.

I can live without cell phone. We are all spoiled by the technology and also become a slave of this technology. I would miss the convenience, and at the same time I would appreciate the quiet moment.

I don't know if I would lose my mind, but I would be a lot less social with my friends and family. With my cell phone, I am able to take it where ever I go, have contact with my friends, family, baby sitter. Just makes everything a lot easier than having to wait to get home to make a call if I need to, especially emergencies. (car breaks down)

Absolutely not.  This world with cell phones have become a danger to all because of stupid people talking on their phone without an ear piece or texting while driving.  You would use a land line phone before the invention of the cell phone.
