Help With Referral
« on: December 16, 2010, 10:47:48 am »
I posted this question in Support but still no answer yet. Maybe some of you can help me, I have a friend that is trying to sign up but it won't take her email address. It begins with spa followed with numbers. It tells her that profanity is not allowed. She tried seqcave and some numbers and it tells her the same thing. she is almost ready to give up. Any suggestions?

Maybe she can activate a new email account with just alphabets and no numbers. Besides, she may also need the extra space for all the ad and confirmation emails. It's probably more convenient and organized to keep track of FC and all those offers anyhow. :) Hope that helps.

If the email address has the word 'spam' or 'junk' in it, it wont be accepted.  This is to help ensure that our messages reach your inbox (often those addresses are 'fake' or 'throwaway' accounts and mailing to them can hurt our email reputation).  You can see all the requirements for email addresses here: http://www.fusioncash.net/emailhelp.htm

With one email account it begins with spa and four numbers and the other one is seqcave and some numbers. Why is it saying that profanity is not allowed?

That error message appears for any email address that does not meet the requirements laid out on this page: http://www.fusioncash.net/emailhelp.htm

That error will also appear if there is a typo in the email address, or if it's using a domain (the part after @) which facilitates abuse (e.g. mail.com), or if it's a temporary email provider (e.g. mailinator.com).  Hope this helps

I am thinking that maybe she can setup a new email account just for Fusion and maybe for any other sites that she is going to signup with. I did and it works great! Just a thought. :angel11: :angel11:

Why fight it??? Just get another free Gmail account and use that.

Thank all of you for your suggestions and I will pass them on to her. I have another person that may sign up today.
Keeping my fingers crossed.
