Dial Up :BangHead:
« on: December 10, 2010, 11:38:49 am »
:BangHead: I'm sure if I lived closer to Dallas or some off wared tower that i would be able to use DSL or even Broadband. BUT no I don't I live so far out that when it snows we have to ride a golf cart or something to get to the car or even to the driveway. I know for fact that I would make so much more online instead of waiting for 4 mins for a page to load, and sometimes they don't load at all so I lost that credit. So weeding through out the sites to find the ones that work for me is time consuming but it helps for sure!

I used to have dial up for the longest time. I have DSL now and it is a lot better and faster. I have the second one up and am thinking of going higher.

What? You have the patience to do this on dial up? My mamaw has dial-up and whenever I have to go to her house for a week I just don't use the internet. It's just not even worth it. :[

I remember dial up. We had dial up when we got our first computer, which was 13 years ago. I don't remember too many problems with it though. Then again that's probably 'cause I wasn't too internet savy at 10. 3 years later we got DSL and now I'm hooked, haha.

We used to be stuck with dial up too . I did Fusioncash with dial up and I used to leave each survey page open for at least 3 minutes after it loaded. It sucked but it did credit, sometimes better than my high speed broadband does now. I'm really spoiled to it now, I'd hate to go back to dial up.
