Do you give more than you receive for christmas?

I have always been a giver on Christmas and any other day. I was always taught that it is better to give than receive. What about you? Do you feel the same way?

Yes I love to see how happy people get when they get something and had no idea it was coming.  This time of year is awesome!!!!!

I'm in a situation where I'm able to give more since I work part-time now. I rather give than receive gifts or money. I put my family and friends ahead of me and its just nice to see them all happy

I agree it is better to give than receive. Once upon a time ago I had a wonderful paying job and was able to really go all out, now I try to get a lot of little items. It's really about the kids anyway so I don't need anything.

I definitely give more than I receive.  I really don't need anything soit is more difficult for people to give to me.

I feel like I do because all of my siblings are married with kids while I am neither married nor do  I have kids. I end up buying 4 gifts per sibling while they only have to buy me one but I will say that my family members tend to buy me more expensive gifts because they are aware they are only buying 1 gift for me.

yes i tend to buy too much for everyone but i just like giving.
