laparoscopic cholecystectomy
« on: December 04, 2010, 01:20:59 am »
Has anyone ever had this surgery for their gallbladder? I'm recovering.. I had surgery on December 1st.. so in the meantime I have just been resting and spending my time on FC.

I did 4 years ago.  No problems, 2 small scars (one is in my belly button so no one sees it), and one about half way up my belly.  Also, a scar that looks like a dot towards the side of my belly.  Good luck on your recovery.  Do what the dr's tell you.

:cat:  My cousin just had it done this week.  She's doing like you are, resting and catching up on the computer.  I wish you the very best in your recovery! :)

You will be feeling better in no time at all. I also had a few surgeries in the past 8 years. My last surgery was a hip arthroplasty and labrum repair which I had last year. I also had a hysterectomy and a laproscopic cholecystectomy a few years ago. As long as you follow all the Doctor's instrctions, eat healthy and rest your recovery should be uneventful. Take care of yourself.
