Who loves thanksgiving?

I don't know if it is just me, but I LOVE Thanksgiving!! It is a time to get together with family, and celebrate. Who agrees? It is also a time to PIG OUT!! HAHA..ahem, anyway, comment on this if you agree with me.

   I love Thanksgiving, too!  Thanksgiving morning always brings back those special memories of my mom and I preparing the dinner,when I was a little girl through teens.  Of course, she did all the hard work, I just helped.  We would always watch the parade, too.  That was special for me.

After marrying and having our children, I tried to follow tradition, and now my kids (all adults, now) have great memories.  My oldest son is married and has 2 little girls, and now they are doing the same. 

I love the smells of everything cooking and baking (like the turkey, pumpkin pie, rolls, etc.)  And I also love going to visit our other relatives, as well! Or, they come to visit us!

Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  I always loved cooking with my mom... I always looked forward to it all year.  After we had eaten, helping my mom put up the leftovers, and then sitting on the couch and falling asleep watching movies together as a family, no worries about getting up early the next day... no other holiday compares for me.
