How many people carve pumpkins and go to pumpkin patches in there areas?

If carving is your idea of fun ? If have local favorite pumpkin patches that you like to go to in your area? There are lots of places in are area that sells pumpkins but we like going to the patch to pick ours out.  they also may have free hayrides or hot cider and doughnuts so that always a treat for the kids. Some places in our area also have mazes that can be fun too.

  I love going to pumpkin patches (usually take students on field trips, too!)  There is a farm that has a wonderful corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayrides, horse riding, and petting animals that we love to go to!

Love carving pumpkins, usually get mine from a family farm.  Going tomorrow as a matter of fact.

I've carved about 3-4 pumpkins in my life and only went pumpkin once. Lol It's never been a tradition in my family.

We typically use the "potato head" style pumpkin decorating kits instead of actually carving - too messy for a 3 year old and 1 year old. We do go to the pumpkin patches - mostly for the hay rides, corn mazes, and petting zoos.

i've only ever carved a pumpkin once with my
family, when i was younger! i've always wanted
to do it again...

i recently went back home to KY for a visit and
went to a pumpkin patch with my best friend.
i'd never been to a pumpkin patch before, so it
was pretty neat. i liked that the ones straight
from the patch were more unique than the store-
bought kind.

i set them out for decoration  love fall !

Our friend has a patch, had it for many years. We go there to get ours and then carve it as a family.

I go to this place called Dewberry Farm.  It's awesome and the kids love it.  And, by the way, on a side note- last year I threw my rotten pumpkin in my compost pile and grew my own pumpkin patch.  Only one pumpkin survived bc I was doing the organic method. lol It was still cool and my kids thought it was awesome too.  Try it!
