I am leaving D+D tonight with this thought

I want to apologize to everyone on this forum, as you can see, religion can have negative lasting impacts.

All of my life I believed in God out of fear of going to hell. Now I never agreed with God sending people to hell for any reason and could never understand him ever creating people to begin with if that is what he was going to end up doing.

I believed in God just incase, people that believed in him, churches, the bible, was all correct! I would rather believe than burn. Even though heaven wouldn't be heaven when people are burning.

Why would God put people in hell period? Why not just uncreate them, even though that sounds horrible in itself, because I think most people like living.

I still am kind of worried I may go to hell, if I just get on with my life and never give God a second thought. Religion and Religious people will haunt me for the rest of my life.

I feel religion stole my childhood and made me fear something I don't even know if it exists or not.

I never really believed in God but always tried to convince myself too, even though I knew it just isn't right. The bible God in my opinion is based soley on people, because it is people that would create a God to be a monster.

There may be a God, but not one that puts people in hell.

You says Muslims are bad cause they kill? YOU KILL PEOPLES SPIRITS AND MINDS by preaching this stuff all through out America. They and I mean the government needs to stop the mental torture on people and do away with the hell concept.

People that believe they may go to Hell are not thinking healthy, it isn't healthy to live in fear.

That being said, if anyone is going through this right now, just try to imagine a loving God ever creating people only to throw you in hell. It can't be true.
