« on: October 02, 2010, 04:14:39 pm »
Sceniro: your in a long term relaionship and you're partner has friends of the oppisite sex always, you are not involved with these but you are not allowed to be part of either, the catch he comes home every night and doesn't have any contact that you can find? how do you feel, how long till you trust he's not just keeping options open?

I grew up with mainly guy friends so with all my relationships the man had to conform HOWEVER he was allowed to hang out with us, they all got to know each other pretty well and sometimes would remain friends after our relationship ended.  Trust and communication are the keys to success

I think its healthy to have friends of both genders.  I have always had more men friends (all platonic) than women.

It has always been easier for me to be friends with the guys than the gals. My best friend is a guy as was my boy friend before we started to date lol. He is constantly going out with friends, guys and gals, and I trust him explicitly as he does with me and my guy friends. In fact some of his friends have become my friends. His best friend is the one that introduce us. We had tried dating and it had not worked out and I got introduced to my now boyfriend.

So are you saying that if your man has a female friend and it is purely platonic that he is gay? Does this mean the same if it is a girl with males platonic friends?
