First of Sept.
« on: September 01, 2010, 06:22:07 pm »
I can't beleive it's the first of Sept.  Where has the summer gone, it want be long until fall comes around.  Then the holidays start. Life is just going so fast, my grandmother told me the older you get the faster the time will go. Well if I didn't beleive it  then I sure do now. I wish there was a way to slow things down just a little. Oh well thats life.

:cat:  I agree with you.  I also remember my own grandmother telling me the same thing!  I will be thankful for the cooler weather, though.  I love the crisp cool air, and the changing colors in the fall.

For me time kind of cycles - there are times that fly by, and times that take forever.  Usually seems those times that take forever are coupled with a sudden time warp that makes up for lost time.  Usually this seems to happen when I have deadlines or things I need to have done several months away - early on, I have all the time in the world, then at some point, they're due "next week" - and suddenly time moves at warp speed.

Like right now, the summer seems to have gone at an average pace - got a lot of stuff accomplished, so it didn't feel like I missed doing something for lack of time.  The holidays seem so far away, but in about 2 months, I'll be scrambling to figure out gifts wondering if I'm going to make delivery deadlines.

Ah, relativity - Einstein was so right!   ;D

I like Fall, but I can't believe Summer is nearly gone already.  So it'll be nothing but snow, ice, and grey skies for the next 5 months...ugh.

I am still in shock over the fact that August is over..... :'( It's like it just flew by! Faster than June and July! While I do enjoy the summer months, I have to say that Autumn is my favorite season. I can't wait for the turning of the leaves and the days when you can wear short sleeves, but the nights were you have to wear long sleeves. Also, since I am a nerd.....I also find myself anticipating the upcoming semester at the university I attend.
