Nosy Neighbors

Just curious as to every ones opinions. Here lately one of my male neighbors would come over for about an hour and we would sit and talk. He is single and my boyfriend is in GA, and every once in a while company is nice right? Ethough nothing ever happens one of the neighbors started a rumor that he and I were an item. Well I am planning on letting a close friend of mine "who is also male" move in so that we both can save some money, both our cars really need worked on an it is hard to save up money for the small stuff these days. I know a rumor will be going around that he and I are an item. Usually I dont let other peoples opinions bother me and my boyfriend trusts me. Would this bother you if you were me?

Give people a piece of your mind if they are gonna be rude...And life's has to many problems of its own for you to even bother with tards making rumors

I am the type I dont let most people know how I feel. I went as far as putting a do not disturb sign on front door just so neighbors would leave me alone and the ignored it. It was in bright red. The neighbor who spreads the rumors got pissed off about it.

I am confident in my relationships. I even asked my boyfriend if he would have a problem with it and he said no he knows I wont fool around on him and he trust my judgement in people. I just dont like the idea of being made to sound like a tart if you know what I mean lol but I seriously need help with my bills right now and my friend needs to save money to fix his car so I figured it was a win win situation.
