Apartment Sandbox

Since we have an apartment, we can't just go outside and build my little guy a sandbox so I bought I good size tote and filled it with a 50 lb bag of sand and threw in about 15 small toys.  We take it outside when we want to play and bring it back upstairs when we are done.  Easy as 1, 2, 3.  The only problem for me is I'm a sissy and think it's heavy.

Yeah, after the first day we tried it I'm like "Okay buddy, from now on, we can only play with the sandbox when Daddy's home to help us carry it"

Very good idea there! The saying is "Necessity is the Mother of invention", but I really think it should be "Mother's are the Mother of invention."! We are often 'forced' to be creative when our kids are young.
