Hello everyone.
I am a new member here and actually new to the whole survey taking thing. Which I must say I am a stay at home mom and this is a wonderful discovery.
Anyway I wanted to tell everyone that I am hoping to have some puppies for sale come this fall. I have a pair of English Bulldogs, for those of you who don't know what they look like, they are the Mac Truck dogs. My female(Isabella) is white with large red spots. she has a red spot over one eye and four large spots on her body. She is beautiful, she is 50lbs and has a 7 generation pedigree. She was born in the ukrane, and there are SEVERAL champions in her bloodline. She is show quality. My male(Mackavelly) is a beautiful red brindle with a white stripe between his eyes, white mouth, white chest and belly and four white paws. He is 60lbs and very stocky. He has a 5 generation pedigree. He hails from Oklahoma and also has SEVERAL champions in his bloodline, along with a few T.V. and advertisment stars. He is also show quality. He is the perfect example of a English Bulldog, Very Short and VERY VERY Wide. Oh and of course they are AKC registered. We will be giving a one year health garintee for a congenital defects. I have not made up my mind on price yet, but I am thinking around the 1800.00 to 2000.00 range. If you are interested please let me know and I would be more than happy to e-mail you pictures of my Mackavelly and Isabella, that way you can get a feel for what the puppies are going to look like as an adult. I have found that people either really like the dogs or they really don't. They have a look about them that you either love or hate.

Origin

Today's bulldog has a very different temperament from those of his ancestors. The breed is descended from the ancient Asiatic mastiff, but its development took place completely in Great Britain. The name bulldog, which is medieval in origin, refers not only to the robust look of a little bull, which this aggressive dog has, but also to the power with which this dog attacked bulls in arena combat before that practice was prohibited by law in the nineteenth century.


Temperment
Although the English Bulldogs appearance can be somewhat intimidating, it is among the gentlest of dogs.  Just the same it will see off any intruder, and few would risk a close encounter with a dog brave enough to bait a bull.  It is described as a very affectionate and dependable animal, gentle with children, but known for its courage and its excellent guarding abilities.  Bullheaded and stubborn, this breed can be very persistent. They do not give up easily. Bulldogs are very much a peoples dog seeking out human attention and loving every bit it can get!!  A lot of human attention is required for the breed's happiness.  Some English Bulldogs can be a bit dominating and need an owner who knows how to display strong leadership and understands alpha canine behavior.   A Bulldog who understands it's *place* in the human pack, is nice to, and reliable with all people.  This breed is good with family pets, but some can be scrappy with strange dogs.  When Bulldogs are young, they are full of energy, but slow down as they get older. They snore very loudly, and most have drool and slobber tendencies.

Height: about 12-16 inches (31-40 cm.) (there is no prescribed height, but shorter Bulldogs are more prized when being shown)
Weight: Male: 53-55 pounds (24-25kg.) Female 49-51 pounds (22-23kg.)

Health Problems
Breathing problems; some have small windpipes as well. Also poor eyesight, very susceptible to heat stroke in warm weather or hot rooms and cars. Very cold sensitive. Puppies often delivered by caesarian section because of their broad heads. Its digestive system is very active and may be offensive to people with sensitive noses. Susceptible to skin infections. Also hip and knee problems.

Living Conditions
The English Bulldog is good for apartment life. They are very inactive indoors and will do okay without a yard. This breed is an indoor dog. Bulldogs do best in temperate climates as the breed can chill easily in cold weather and have trouble cooling off in very hot weather.

Exercise
Some adult Bulldogs would just as soon not take any exercise, while others are full of energy. In any case all Bulldogs need to be taken on daily walks to fulfill their primal canine instinct to walk. Fit English Bulldogs are capable of moving very quickly for short periods of time.

The breed has always reminded me of the show (I watched faithfully as a child), called, "Jake and the Fat Man"

Aww i would love to rub a lil fat puppies belly about now...sigh..unfortunately my son developed allergies when he was about 13...dont even have a hyper kitten to attack my toes anymore...those were the good ole (albeit painful) days...

Awwww, DANG! And here I was going to give you first pick of these kittens I am going to be giving away next week. They just turned 6 weeks old Jan. 30th. They are eating kitten food, using the litter box and drinking water!

Nevermind my hubbys belly. LoL Here are 3 kittens @ a few weeks old. The runt died.  


The little male a few weeks ago (only male kitten). He's in his, 'You talkin to ME' stance. LoL


The kittens as of a few days ago. Getting their grub on with momma Lexi. 1 female is drinking water & the male is right between the other female & their momma at the food bowl.

I tried to get individual pics of the 2 female kittens but they are just TOO hyper & won't stay still long enough!

Awww they are so cuuuuuuuuuuttttttteeee....i love baby animals!...our cat Sabrina had 3 kittens 2 girls (Dixie and Danyale) and 1 boy (Doby) the boy was born last...not sure if it was just my cat, but that boy was super hyper...the girls would be playing with each other so sweetly and i would notice the boy peeking at them from around the corner...then BAM!...he would run smack into them!..*bleep* of fur flying..then pounce on the couch...jump off a chair and wind up on the damn stairs, ready to pounce again...too much energy for one cat i tell ya...but he was loveable soon as he grew out of that "iwillattackanydamnthingthatmoves" stage.

LoL! The 2 females just absolutely torture the little male. Ganging up on him, etc.
I bet he thinks to himself, "Just you wait until I get BIGGER!"
And I haven't named these as naming forms an attachment & I cannot keep them. 
I already have 6 cats now. 

But they are cute and the male just follows me wherever I may go.
