Do you get paid for replying to someone's post? Can you get paid for more than 30 posts in a month? I'm new at this and don't have a clue to what I'm doing.

This thread that is posted about the 30 forum posts a month really answers all your questions about it:

You get paid $3 for posting.  You need to post at least 30 times.  It is wise to post more as they check to make sure you have at least 30 post that are contributory.  So if you have more you will be covering yourself.  You don't get paid $6 for 60 or anything like that.

You need to post at least 30 meaningful posts in a calender month before you apply for/eligible for the $3.00 forum bonus.

You can see how many posts you made in the current month that quailify by clicking  on the "paid for" link at the top of this page and click on the link on the landing page that refers to applying for the bonus.
Once you have filled out that form (requires you to enter the id number of 3 of your posts that month -- not a problem -- they also give you a link to all of the posts you've made this month so you can select the ones that look best for you.), you will a notice of how many days you need to wait to get your bonus -- as well as a history of the forum bonuses you've received.

You get credit for responding to other peoples posts, plus creating your own thread.  I believe, however, that you only get credit for the first post on a given thread.

When posting in a thread it is important to be sure that it will qualify as a individual posting. Some of the members do not include enough information to allow the post to credit when filling out the form.
