One Certain Site will not load! Help!!

Hello to all on FusionCash,

I have a website that I am trying to access that keeps coming up "Firefox can't find the server at "NameofWebsite.com"   

[NOTE:  NameofWebsite is not the website---I didn't want to put a real link in FusionCash]
 
The link worked for me last week but I have not been able to get it to come up since last weekend.   

It is a members only site and password protected, but I can't even get the page to come up so I can enter the id and password. I also tried to access the page on Internet Explorer but had the same no luck results:  "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage"..

Every other webpage I have tried to access works just not this one. I know it is a working page because I have had other people try it from different locations and it comes up for them.   

I run Avira Antivirus - which does an automatic shutdown every night.  I normally run CClearner every morning and then Advanced System Care.

Can anyone in FusionCash help me??  Thanks!

you might try to "restore your computer to an eariler date"  or have you tried to access the site from another computer? if  you can access it from another but not yours then it could be the hard drive .  Good Luck.

You can name the site; you just can't enter a referral link to the site.  I'd be happy to try loading the site on my PC, but I need the name.

Try to Google the site.  See if there is any info on it -- perhaps it's down or out. If you get anything with MyLot in the Google search, you might get more info. (You don't have to be a member of MyLot to read their forum messages, but if you want to post your problem, you do need to sign up/sign in.)

I don't use FireFox, only IE.

I often get the same message from IE on sites I'm trying to load.  Usually refreshing does the trick; sometimes not.   (I have dial-up.)

If your transmission speed is slower than usually or if there have been storms in your area, that might affect the transmission.  Line noise can effect the transmission of data and uploads.

No I have not solved the problem.  It is weird because sometimes I CAN get into the site.

In fact now I have 2 websites that will not load.   Sometimes they do, but sometimes they do not.  Other people are able to get into these sites.

I think it has something to do with Fire Fox, this happens to me once in a while when I try to access certain sites.
