There's no secret to weight loss. Just gotta burn more calories than you take in. I do it by staying active. using a smaller plate to think I am eating the same amount as a big plate. When eating a sandwich, i use only one piece of bread. Using smaller bowls to eat cereal. when eating chips, i don't eat out of the bag, I get only what I need and put the bag back in the cupboard.

Eat everything you wanna eat but be reasonable for me I eat everything but I don't over eat and don't skip meals it doesn't improve your weight loss to skip a meal, and keep the fresh salad for every lunch or dinner but try unusual dressing I use lemon juice and some salt or some white vinigar with salt
I never did a diet before and I am Ok I always gain a few bounds and lose it with no change in my food even after bregnancy and delivery it's the same
I am not too skinny by the way I am OK
I am 5.6 feet and 146 Pounds

There isn't a secret to weight loss...only knowledge.  The knowledge that you must possess is the understanding that ALL FRIED FOOD is terrible for the body and that most fast food and sit down restaurants inject fat into their food therefore making them FRIED for you.  The next bit of knowledge that one must have is the understanding that portions are smaller then they realize...READ THE BOXES, PACKAGES AND BAGS for appropriate sizing and then stick with that!  Finally, find an activity that you enjoy doing and DO IT!  It won't be exercise if you love what you do.

CALL A REGISTERED DIETITIAN --- NOT another company such as mentioned in the previous post.
You need a plan that can be LIFE LONG -- not something that you pay a lot of money for but can't maintain.

watch what you eat. calories and carbs.
i don't need to lose weight or anything but i do need to watch what i eat because i gain easily so i stay away from fats in the meat.
i eat plenty of fruits and some veggies whenever i can too..

Just went to the doctor yesterday.  My last visit was 3 months ago.  Over a 3 month period I lost 32 lbs.  Ready for the secret ? 4 steps: 1)  Watch what you eat. 2) Watch how much you eat 3) Watch when you eat  4) Exercise one-half hour a day, 6 days a week and really work up a sweat.  Was it easy, no, are there benefits, absolutely. Forget the pills , liquids, dietetic cookies, and all the famous name diets, they just don't work because once you get down to your healthy weight and stop using these substitutes for what amounts to a lifestyle change, your weight will go right back up again.

I think this is the answer....too many people are looking for quick fixes, and spend tons of time and money on pills and crash diets...but I think the only way to really lose weight effectively is to have a healthy lifestyle...I learned the hard way.

Detox for two weeks. no sugar, caffeine , red meat or alcohol, gluten free and no - dairy during that time.
Exercise daily for one hour.  Then go all vegetarian for 3 months.
End of 3 months add meat to one meal a day for 3 months.
End of three months eat 5 meals a day for next 3 months, gluten and sugar free.  Keep calories around 1800
LAst 3 months of year...go back to no meat vegetarian but include eggs and lite alcohol(preferably wine).  Stay away from dairy.

Repeat this process for rest of life. Start out the process last two weeks in September(northern hemisphere)

Exercise one hour everyday.

Exercise just like everyone says. However, it's difficult if you are doing it just to lose weight. If you do that you will lose motivation by the second week. Instead, pick up something you enjoy doing and turn it into the exercise. If you love to play basket, do it. If you love to play tennis, do it. If you love to dance, that's a great way to burn calories as well. It's even better if you join a club or something along that line, doing something you like with other people will push you to perform better and in turn burn more calories. Losing weight doesn't have to be painful, it can be fun as well.
