when i would babysit when i was younger,
sometimes i'd bring old cartoons of mine or even
movies because 1) i hoped they'd fall in love with
them as much as i had, and 2) i was really sick of
the new big, bubbly, computerized cartoons day
after day...

they were so bored with them! i didn't even tell
them that they were "old" cartoons because i knew
they wouldn't give it a chance, but it didn't matter.
they were very much un-enchanted with the velveteen
rabbit, puff the magic dragon, etc :(

i was a little heart-broken myself.
[ we all have a place in history. mine is in the clouds. ]

Some of the old cartoons were the best. I use to like to watch The Flintstones, The Jetsons, Tom and Jerry....
