Do you belive 2012 End Of The World

It's probably better that we don't know anyway. If it was true, I'd be planning out a way to survive. And sorting through the neighbors in my apartment building that I would be using as food and which ones I would be using for transportation in the off chance that I would actually make it. It's better that it be a surprise. Like a surprise party where everyone dies.

Ha i just touch on a subject something like this post. I dont belive its going to be the end of this world are mabe it will be because its going to hell rite now! But i belive UFOs and such are showing them selves because they letting us know time is going to change and its coming soon! I belive that we are in brake of time where UFOs are going to show themselves and tell us about whats going to happen. 2012 i belive was givin a time by the UFOs to be aware of that date because they coming back to see how we doing!! IDK But not the end of the world i think just a whole new beginning with new technology! New Age New ERA!!

It's not the end of the Mayan calendar as most people seem to think.  It's the end of a cycle/era/age on their calendar. Meaning we're simply entering a new one.

Well, if it is the end of the world, I just gotta make sure I have my cell phone with me... I just watched the movie 2012 and the cell phones were all-powerful in that flick. People were getting overage in the middle of Yellow Stone. And after it was announced that all land communications had stopped working, they were still able to use the all-mighty cell phone. All hail the cell phone! 

Oh, and before 2012 you should be able to pick up AM/FM radio signals in your car in the middle of the Pacific, according to the movie.

Blah, I feel like hardly anyone knew or cared about this until that movie came out.
I remember hearing about this years ago... when i was like 12 or 13 and I freaked out.
Now I don't think anything of it at all. It is just something merely to joke and prod at in my eyes.

No, the world won't end in 2012.  It ended in 2000, when all the nukes went off and technology failed.  And before that, it ended during WW2. And before THAT it ended in WW1. After it ends in 2012, it will end in 2032.   Every few years, we have a new date set of when the world is going to end.  Even though there are many beliefs of WHY 12/21/12 is going to be the last day, (Mayan calender, Solar Flares, planets aligning with the center of the galaxy, some random planet crashing into ours, etc.) I don't believe it will.  In my theory, the reason the Mayan calender ended on 12/21/12 is because they have never experienced something like this, so they have no clue of what's going to happen.  As for Solar Flares, those happen all the time, and yet the world keeps spinning.  I can't tell you what's going to happen if the planets align with the center of the galaxy, but I am positive it won't be the end of the earth.  And the one with the random planet thing has been disproved.   Really, it just takes basic logic to know that there is nothing to worry about.  And even if there is a reason to worry, shouldn't that mean you should just live your life while you can, since you might not live on?  Stop worrying about the future, because if you live your life in fear, then are you really even living?

Anyways, that's what I have to say on the subject.

I believe that someday, something will happen to wipe out MOST of the life on this planet. Exactly when no one knows. Total Human extinction is possible but not likely. You do have your survivalists that live their life as if everyday is their last. Those are the ones that will survive a devastating extinction event. They have underground shelters, stockpile food, and usually heavily armed.

There are many possibilities that could happen to lead to the extermination of MOST life on Earth. Solar flares, global warming, rising oceans, earthquakes, tsunami's, volcano's, meteors, war, and a new ice age and those are just a few possibilities.

However, I agree with a poster above. I dont worry about it, and dont even really think about it until I come across threads like these. I dont wanna live my life in fear of it, because if I do, then I am not enjoying life itself.

No i do not. I think the year will keep changing and how many times have we heard about this kind of stuff and it never happens? I think eventually it may be the end, but i donnot think anytime soon.
