I had two kids. I would give her a few minutes before giving her the bottle. She should go back to sleep.

how many oz of bottle does she get before she sleeps??

my daughter started sleeping thru the night when she was like 2 or 3 months.. we would give her a bottle before she went to sleep 7 oz or so. (normally she got about 5 oz) and i noticed that i guess since she was a little more full she didnt wake up during the night

Actually Longoria11 has a point, in my experience in the pedia ward i had this problem often times feeding time is a factor, i can't really give you a sound nursing advice except this is the time where feeding time is "as needed basis". Really its going to keep you up but the Longoria11  said feeding 7 oz before sleeping is a good idea and logically sound but i am just worried about aspiration, so rocker to sleep before sleeping put her on a 30 degree angle, our baby basonets in the hospital can be inclined for postural drainage so maybe you can try puting some pillows to support her angle for about an hour then you can put her in a normal position. I hope this works out well for you.

Sometimes my daughter still doesn't sleep through the night, just depends on if she's not feeling too well or something. Poor baby though, I hope you find a way stay sane while dealing with those problems. Baby's are a lot of hard work. :)

When my daughter was born, I think she slept through the night more than I did, because I was so excited she was here! I would lay down to get rest, and jump up and just stare at her, touch her hands, watch her dream....

When she became about 4 months old, and more aware-she would not sleep throught the night at all.  I just spent time with her, played music, even took her for a car ride to calm her down. She will wake up to feed, most children at that age will, if they are picky with their food during the day.........

It also helps if you are a part of the "wind down" routine, so she sees that you are also going to bed as well! If they think your going to the party, they will want to be where the party is at!!!!!

My nephew is a year and a half and he still won't sleep through the night.  I don't understand why.  My daughter, on the other hand, will be two next month, and she has been sleeping through the night since she was around four months old.  We found a bedtime routine that worked for her and stuck with it.  She now sleeps for a twelve hour stretch through the night and rarely takes a nap during the day.  Every baby is different.  Good luck.

thanks to EVERYONE for all the advice. i will take it all into consideration, she usually has a 6 oz bottle before bed, and sleeps about 6 hours, which i know is NOT bad. but is screaming until i make her another bottle and then goes right back out. its been a long road these 9 mos, but i am sure when she starts crawling she will definately be more tired. mommy just needs sleep...  :-

My daughter is 14 months and still has nights where she wakes up once or twice...not hungry or anything...sometimes I can get her right back to sleep but other times it's a nightmare with her screaming her lungs out at me! I think it's because she's such a late teether-didn't start coming in until she was 11 months. If she has Tylenol before bed she usually sleeps thru.
