I have actually bought and have received genuine jewelry.  Beautiful and prices were low!!  Also, I had a small problem with my account and they were very helpful and prompt, and they actually answered the phone!

the jewelry is fine, not the 'best' but items are as 'described'. The thing they get you with at Bidz is the SHIPPING charges. They are outrageous!
$10.65 to ship ONE necklace on a string (not a chain) that I only paid $3.00 for. I stopped using it for that reason. It doesn't cost 10.65 to ship a necklace, and of course there was the 65 cent 'processing fee'.

The more value an item has on bidz.com, the higher the bids will go. But all of their items are genuine. I make a lot of necklaces & bracelets so I pruchase a lot of stones from them; turquoise, saphire, ruby, tiger eye, etc. And they all come on a string, not a necklace. I have also purchased a few rings from them that were 10k gold with stones in them.
The reason why s&h is so high there is #1. they base value of item on s&h and the sellers have to insure anything they send out. So if your item were to get lost in the mail or damaged, the seller would replace at no cost to you. But it's the insurance, based on item value, that does cost the most. Except for the items that go for  over 100 or so...s&h isn't higher but still high.

The stuff is real just the diamonds and stuff are always the best, they have natural inclusions or are discolored in my experience.
