tonight's dinner was WYF (whatever you find) because i was preparing food and baking a cake for the special dinner i am making tomorrow night for my sister's 22nd birthday. now tomorrow's dinner will be carne asada tacos made with very tender ranchera flap meat that is seasoned with caldo de pollo (chicken bouillon) and homemade corn tortillas, refried beans with queso cotija, red rice with peas (also seasoned with caldo de pollo), avocado salsa and spinach artichoke dip with homemade corn tortilla chips, and blue tarantula margaritas. and the birthday cake is a black forest cake made completely from scratch, with strawberry filling instead of cherry. i can't wait!!!

We decided to have goulach, then went to the grocery store to get a green pepper, wound up seeing some pork chops on sale, bought the green pepper, came home, cooked the hamburgrer and onions, greenpeppers and shells, then realized I didn't have any tomato sauce, had to send husband back to the store to get tomato sauce, only came back with spaghetti sauce and it has basil and all that junk in it, not the best. So I had to chop up more onions, etc. to get rid of the sweet taste.

All you needed to do is add 1 to 2 tablespoons of vinager. Just an FYI.
