That is truly an excellent point and one I'm glad you raised. Makes you really stop and re-remember that Christmas really is more about giving (of yourself) than receiving.

I think anything can be the way you make it or how you look at it. If you look at christmas for a way to get drunk, then you are putting it in that perspective. We can all look at things how we want to see them, if you look at it in a different way, you will see it in a different way. It is supposed to be a celebration of the birth of our Savior, but it is not the right time of year, but we can celebrate that every day, without Jesus, we would all be doomed.

    Some people do not seem to know how to celebrate Christmas. Christmas should be in your heart!...not in your pocket. Yes, I know...Christmas is highly commercialized but there are lots of good hearts out there! We should help both: the rich and the poor. Yes, Virginia! There is a Santa Claus in every corner of this world...and there was a real one many years ago who started all this and many of us still follow his example.
