RIP Calean Seamus McMahan
« on: December 03, 2009, 10:28:57 pm »
My best friend of 18 years buried her son today. I am only sharing this with you guys as her little boy did not have a fighting chance at all. He was born November 26 and died November 26th, Calean is survived by hes loving father, mother, one brother and two sisters. Im also sharing this to let people know that life should not be taken for granted in any way shape or form. Judge not people as you never know what the lives of others are like. The Officiating, Brother Bob Perkins said it best today while talking to us, (family & friends) God is not church, God is not show, God is in many different aspects in every day life. Flashy words of wisdom that some take out of context does not make others better people. YES my friend and her husband believe in a different GOD than most. But as Brother Bob Perkins said as long as you believe, (and he read this from the bible) you will be accepted into the "kingdom". As most of you already know I hate religion talk more than anything. I hate people throwing it down peoples throats. But at the awake it wasnt about that at all. It was about believing with all your heart what you believe in and knowing that it is right for you. Showing off, is another phrase he used is like telling people you have millions of dollars and nothing to show for it. Made allot of since to me. So please understand not everyone believes in everything everyone else believes in and for that simple fact they are not bad people nor should anyone have the right at all to judge. A child's death is the most horrible unimaginable thing any mother & father can ever possibly go through. Im glad there are people out there like Brother Bob whom toke the time to find scriptures from the bible to state that it doesn't matter what you believe in just that you believe in something, who also took the time to make all of us realize no one is better than anyone no matter what form of believe system you have. I just wish more people were like that in this world of "SHOWING OFF". So my conclusion to this is Calean will never be forgotten, he will also be missed by many, morning the loose of a child is hard and morning the loose of a sibling is worse when your brothers and sisters are younger than eight. I hope people will read this and not think I'm bashing people as I am not and this is far from it I'm simply stating that just because you believe in ONE particular god does not mean that everyone should and Brother Bob clearly read that from the bible. Just believe and leave others alone unless they ask for help.

Everyone is born perfect, nuff said.

There is but one Creator.
Regardless of the name you know them by or how you honor them,
I believe all who pray, pray to the same Creator.
