Gas Cap
« on: June 29, 2010, 05:05:21 pm »
So I forgot to put my gas cap on at the station and now I don't have one.  They are like $15, I don't want to buy a new one.  Is there something around the house I can use?

Depending on how old your car is, you can go to places like Pick-Ur-Parts and get one from there.

Have you seen if there is a freecycle dot org (trying not to break rules here) in your area. If so post that you are needing one on there.

Go buy no or buy one that locks. Because in some places people are stealing gas out of people cars.

Yeah, I ended up buying one.  It was only $12, cheaper than Walmart, but you guys gave some great tips.  I should have looked here, first.
