Got curious and checked online:

$1,000 and $3,000
Cost Of Battery Replacement of A Electric Car The cost to replace a battery for an electric car varies depending on the make and model of the vehicle. But, most batteries tend to cost between $1,000 and $3,000.
How Much Does It Cost To A Replace Battery For An Electric Car?

https://carsofelectric.com/how-much-does-it-cost-to-a-replace-battery-for-an-electric-car/#:~:text=Cost%20Of%20Battery%20Replacement%20of%20A%20Electric%20Car,batteries%20tend%20to%20cost%20between%20%241%2C000%20and%20%243%2C000.

Let's say that this is true. Who in their right mind would pay even $1000 for a battery??
With the price of gasoline and extra maintainence on a car with internal combustion, the thought of going 8 years on a $1,000 battery start looking better every day. With Nissan that 8 years is under warranty, so it's free if it fails early. That doesn't even consider the battery will increase in effeciency just like cars have over the years.

I don't see how anybody would want to purchase an Electric Car.  It seems to be too many draw backs with the purchase.

Car batteries are one of those things you don’t think about until your car won’t start. I was looking into different options and needed some details, so I checked odyssey battery phone number to see how their customer service handles questions. A good battery makes a difference, especially if you drive in extreme weather or need something reliable for off-road trips. Still figuring out if I should go with a premium one or just stick to a standard replacement.

How dare you not want to buy a Tesla. It your patriotic duty to buy a car from the South African (don't panic, he's white) who runs our country.
