IoT devices to reduce the risk of accidents
« on: June 27, 2023, 02:06:13 pm »
How can IoT devices help prevent falls and accidents among older adults? Are there specific technologies or solutions that have effectively reduced these risks?

I don't know anything about any of these devices, but if they did work it would be good for people who have a tendency to have falling accidents.

Thanks to one technological solution, my grandmother has regained a sense of safety and independence, and I have peace of mind. One day I came across an informative article https://www.cogniteq.com/blog/iot-seniors-solutions-and-use-cases , about IoT solutions for seniors. Inspired by their capabilities, I found a solution that proved invaluable to my grandmother. I implemented intelligent sensors, a wearable device, and a centralized monitoring system. The sensors were strategically placed throughout the house. They were able to detect any abnormal movement or potential danger. Her wearable device provided real-time data on her health parameters, gait analysis and fall detection. And the centralized monitoring system alerted me to any irregularities and allowed me to respond promptly.

Man in the middle and firmware attacks are what I'm dealing with cubes 2048. reading through app permissions, and console commands are not exactly the cyberpunk future I was imagining.
