If a friend cooked you a meal and you didn't like it would you tell them you didn't like it or pretend to like it to save face and not hurt their feelings?

I would probably be so happy that someone cooked for me that I would grin and bear it. And also eat it.

I'd pretend to like it.  Not everything you say has to be brutally honest.  Sometimes it's more important to be kind than right.

\I would probably just eat it too.

If my friend is happy with the meal served, I would eat it without saying one word. You know if my friend stated a mistake or if said sorry for this meal and asked for advise I would still positively say there is next time and thanked my friend for cooking and giving me food. I am the same way someone cooked for me and free food I am happy.

If a friend cooked me a dinner I would not even bother to say if its bad if it is that way. I know honesty is the best policy but in occasions like this Id just be glad someone else made dinner no matter how it tasted. I value friendship and family over anything else even ones cooking wont ever get in the way of that

Eat it, but politely comment on it...say it was good, but perhaps a little sweet (or whatever you didn't like about it)....don't sound ungrateful, but be honest

It depends on how bad it is and how much there is. If its bearable and there is little, I can bear through it to spare their feelings but if there is a lot and it's really bad, tell them you'll take the rest home and throw it away.

Or do what Chandler did on Friends and take it outside to eat it and say a bird stole it!  ;D

Tell them you’re allergic and apologize.

I'd def eat it be polite and not bother to say something negative. If someone wants to cook for you let them its a free meal and you dont have to make it

I would likely stay silent and not make comments. I don't want to hurt their feelings but don't want to lie either.

If I knew that person well and also knew about her uncleanliness habit which could be gross.  No, I would not eat it.  I have relatives whose cooking leaves a lot to be desired I do not eat their cooking.
