Saw $1.68 lb for whole frozen turkeys this week, how much higher will they go?

Just saw an ad for Aldi and the turkeys were .68 lb limit two .. so that is a relief to hear, too bad Walmart no longer price matches.  We have an Aldi's being built close, and one about 20 miles away.

When prices shoot up on some items, I just stop buying them.  I haven't bought bacon in a while.  It's just too pricey.   :turkey:

I don't know what people are going to do.  It's scary.

It's all about supply and demand. If more people go back to work the supplies will get to the stores and the demand will go down and so will the prices.

More and more products are out of stock every time I go to the store. What a mess this country is in. So sad.

I wonder when and where it will end. The gas pump and the grocery store now require a credit check/personal loan/co-signer.

I feel that it's already here as well, there are some items in supermarkets that are up 10-15%.

Hyperinflation is not coming, it's always been here.  Even Dollar Tree and other stores like that has increased the prices on all their items to be sold.

True!  My favorite Dollar store ( 99 cent Stores) has also increased prices on things!  Upwards of .50 most times!  I wonder if the reason some shelves are empty is because the items are more expensive to purchase and they do not want to pass that increase on to the shoppers.

Yes it is definitely here now.  I can't hardly afford bacon because it costs so much for a pound.  Chicken wings use to be one of the cheapest part of the chicken, now it is outrageous.
