I'm not letting these idiots cancel my culture. They're not going to tell me what to say or think, either.
Nor should anyone tell you what to buy or eat. In the store flyers, it looks like Keto, vegetarian, and whatever the other "diets" are, are being pushed. Who wants a cauliflower crust pizza? I don't. I don't want riced veggies either. I like to see what the food looks like. I specifically started buying Goya foods because of the boycott that was started and found out their tomato sauce is much better than what I was buying. I like meat, not fake meat and I won't stop eating it. If I have to, I'd go out and shoot my own beef. LOL
Cancel culture is destroying our history. They cancelled 7 books of Dr. Seuss. I never cared for him but his books tell a moral story. They're also picking on Curious George. Just like Disney is cancelling Dumbo, Peter Pan, Swiss Family Robinson, and The Aristocats. Soon there won't be any historical or old cartoons, stories, etc. They'll find something wrong with everything ever made. I'm waiting for Rudolph, Santa, Frosty, the Easter Bunny, the Groundhog (in Feb.) and other holiday items to be canceled. They started with books back in the 70s and it has continued in the background since then but it's now out front. So many kids books and stories have a moral to the stories and cancelling them cancels morality. I know, I know, sounds extreme, but other reasoning doesn't make sense.
P.S. I forgot to add Pepe LePew and Speedy Gonzalez. They call those cartoons racist. Not in my mind. I find them funny. The last time they tried to cancel Speedy, people were so upset they didn't do it. The complaints came from lots of Hispanics/Latinos beside other races.
