Yes, I'm a pro at building furniture. In one of my earliest jobs I had to assemble 10 desks, about 24 chairs, 3-5 small futons, and figure out how to install a lock for a cabinet. Whew! I also ended up assembling my bed by myself.

For me, it usually requires taking a small amount of time to read the directions and look at illustrations before and during assembly. And using some common sense when things get confusing.  :)
Opinion: 1) a view, judgment, or appraisal formed in the mind about a particular matter 2) belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge
This is the internet, learn to let people have opinions. And don't be so sensitive.  8)

oh God no. I leave all the assembling to my husband. My patience is short.

I'm actually not; I always call my ex husband to put together furniture lol but my sons seem to have a knack for it, especially when its something that pertains to them.

Although I'm not the best at assembling furniture I do have quite a few diy projects I want to attempt such as headboards, throne chairs, chandeliers, and so desks.

My daughter bought  bed, from IKEA, last summer primarily because the packaging would fit into her car and the instructions estimated a two hour assembly period. My daughter  (Valedictorian, top four in her college graduating class at a top three engineering school), son (three point nine cumulative GPA in college-Economics and Finance) and I took seven and a half hours assembling the bed. I told her, after completion, that I would be out of town when it came time for her to move it. That time came last week. My daughter called a mover that quoted her fifty dollars to move it but could not do it until next week. It took two and a half hours to take it apart. We did achieve the two hour mark in re assembling at her new place but we already had all of the hardware on so IKEA's instructions were off.

I am not good at it, but find IKEA furnitures to be easy to assemble

Then I will ask you as a professional in this field. I know that wood is a lighter and cheaper material. True, it is not particularly durable. Like natural rattan https://patiobay.com/product-category/patio-sectional-canada/, the wooden frame can swell from moisture and dry out from heat, loosen in the attachment points and be attacked by fungus, mold or bugs. Cast aluminum is the strongest and most durable frame for wicker furniture. It does not loosen over time, does not deteriorate due to heat or dampness, and is not suitable for the reproduction of microorganisms and insects. At the same time, the aluminum frame is heavier and can support a huge weight (up to 300 pounds). Which one is better and is it worth ordering furniture or buying ready-made? I was advised by one manufacturer
